The time it was a monthly recap {43}

You guys. July and SDCC are officially over.  I spend so much of the year dreaming of SDCC time that it’s crazy once it’s actually over.  Now I’m just counting the days until fall is here.

Ready for the July recap? Settle in.

Last month, I read a total of 15 books.

  • Simon Teen sent an arc of Slay
  • Bloomsbury sent arcs of A Heart So Fierce and Broken and The Map from Here to There
  • Disney sent a signed {!!}, finished copy of All Our Broken Pieces

  • St. Martin’s Press sent an awesome mailing for The Escape Room
  • PRH sent a set of Christmas in July romance arcs
  • Berkley Romance sent an arc of Royal Holiday

I also received The Rogue King from Entangled, Fate of the Fallen from Tor, A Beggar’s Kingdom from William Morrow, The Remaking from Quirk Books, The Last Book Party from Henry Holt, and The Wicker Light from Bloomsbury,

Fangirled over:

Special stuff:

  • Fangirling over: Mary Pearson
  • Special Stuff: We’re going to the 50th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion.  I don’t know if there will be any sort of recap for it, but I’m really excited.
  • Misc: I’m on the downhill slide to the rebranding slash relaunch.  Michelle and I are going to be working on new graphics and things and even though it’s still a bit away, things need to start getting set up.  And yes, I’m still equal parts excited and terrified.

How about you? How was your July? What was your favorite read for the month?
