The time it was a monthly recap {36}

Posted September 4, 2018 by Stacee in Monthly Recap | 4 Comments

Here we are in September and I legit don’t know where the time is going.

I still don’t have a lot of ambition for the blog.  I don’t know if I’m burned out or in a slump or if it’s something else…As I said in last month’s recap, I think there are a few factors contributing to this mood, but I’m planning a discussion post about it.

Anyhoo, ready for the August recap? Settle in.

Last month, I read a total of 23 books.

  • The lovely lovely lovely Ashley surprised me with an arc of Anna and the French Kiss and I screamed
  • Berkley sent me an arc of The Proposal
  • Gallery Books sent me an early finished copy of Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating

Disney Books sent me a signed copy of the Walmart edition of The Darkest Legacy and Bloomsbury sent me an arc of A Curse So Dark and Lonely

Fangirled over:

Interviewed:

  • Fangirling over: Somaiya Daud, Tessa Dare, and maybe Grady Hendrix and Victoria Schwab
  • Reading Rewind: I might cheat a little on this one, but I should be able to make it work.
  • Discussion post: Yes! I have the entire thing outlined, I just need to type it up.
  • Special Stuff: We’re going to Long Beach Comic Con and Kaaboo this month. I’m also making Hubs going to see Hilary Hahn and I’m insanely excited.

How about you? How was your August? What was your favorite read for the month?

  1. Ahh, sounds like your August was so very awesome :D Thank you for sharing about it sweetie. <3 YAY for having read so much, eee :D And for having gotten so much awesome mail too. Sigh. Love it all :) (Though, I'm still heartbroken that you did not love The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein, like I did, haha :D)
