The time it was about Wires and Nerve

I’ve been a fan of the Lunar Chronicles series since the beginning.  While Wolf and his can of tomatoes has always been my favorite, Iko and her brand of sarcasm has been a very close second.

So when I got the invite from Macmillan to share some panels of the upcoming graphic novel, Wires and Nerve, I couldn’t respond fast enough.  Before we get to the awesome pages, let’s check out the book!

Title: Wires and Nerve
Author: Marissa Meyer
Illustrations: Douglas Holgate
Pages: 208
Publisher: Feiwel & Friends
Pub Date: January 31, 2017
Find it: Macmillan | Indiebound | B&N | Amazon

In her first graphic novel, bestselling author Marissa Meyer extends the world of the Lunar Chronicles with a brand-new, action-packed story about Iko, the android with a heart of (mechanized) gold. When rogue packs of wolf-hybrid soldiers threaten the tenuous peace alliance between Earth and Luna, Iko takes it upon herself to hunt down the soldiers’ leader. She is soon working with a handsome royal guard who forces her to question everything she knows about love, loyalty, and her own humanity. With appearances by Cinder and the rest of the Rampion crew, this is a must-have for fans of the bestselling series.

For the start of Chapter 2, we travel back in time 2 months as Iko joins Queen Selene of Luna, better known as Cinder, as she reviews witness accounts of rogue wolf soldier attacks on Earth. Cinder struggles to think of a plan that will help Earthens rid themselves of rogue wolf soldiers.

  1. I did not know it was coming out so soon! My sister loves this series. It will be a fabulous gift for me to get for her. Something I can actually gift wrap for once because she prefers ebooks. Thanks for the heads up. :)
