The time it was about Friday Favorites {4}

Posted October 14, 2016 by Stacee in Friday Favorites | 8 Comments

Here we are for another installment of Friday Favorites! Today’s guest is someone I’ve talked to on Twitter for a few years now.  We both share an obsession with a love for the Splintered series by AG Howard and I was absolutely thrilled to see that she signed up.

Let’s welcome LaLa from La La in the Library!

Describe your blog in 3 words.

Indie author loving.

Tell us 3 random facts about you.

1. I studied to be an opera singer, but ended up in rock n’ roll.
2. I am a pescetarian which is basically a vegetarian who eats fish once in a while. I try to be as veganish as possible, but pizza isn’t pizza without real cheese.
3. I once had a job as a human chess piece at a Catskill”s summer resort. It sure beat my previous summer job of shoveling horse manure. Ha ha.

What book world would you want to live in?

Harry Potter, yeah, I know, how original, but post-Voldie.

Favorite Author: Harper Lee
Favorite Book: To Kill a Mockingbird. I refuse to read Go Set a Watchman.
Favorite Movie: The original Wizard Of Oz. I have watched it nearly 100 times.
Favorite Band: Right now, Faith No More, I would say Led Zeppelin is my longest love, though.

Blog: So Long… & Thanks For All The Fish. Elizabeth and I bonded over a shared love of Clive Barker.
Instagram account: Paper Fury. Cait’s photographic composition skills are impeccable.
What is your favorite blog post from your account? The Beyond the Books feature post I did about my city. I love my city!

Thanks for having me on your fabulous blog, Stacee!

Huge thanks to Linda for taking the time!! Click here to find her on her blog!

    • Stacee

Yay! Thank you!! I’m excited that everyone seems to be excited for it. And yes to finding new people.

Thanks for signing up and being so awesome!!

  1. I didn’t know you were a vegetarian that sometimes eat fish! I try really hard to do that too. It is tough with two teenagers. I never order meat at restaurants but I do fix it at home. However, I have cut doing that in half.

    • My son was raised no mammal meat. We started saying that because when we said no “red meat” people always said we could eat pork, which we don’t. I still cook some poultry for him at home, but I changed over to only fish about seven years ago. I try really hard not to eat any animal products at all, and our eggs come from a local free range farm, but omg cheese is like my food love, ha ha! I also don’t use leather products. I just figure whatever amount a person can cut out, a lot or a little, is better than nothing. :)
